One Woman Walks Europe
Ursula Martin

When Ursula's book One Woman Walks Europe came out last year, she spent 7 months walking from Land's End to John O'Groats, visiting bookshops along the way. At that time, we had only just found our shop location in Ashbourne. However, we picked up her book at Five Leaves in Nottingham and it has become a firm shop favourite. Since then, her book has won The Ilse Schwepcke Prize which is the world’s most valuable prize for travel writing by women. As it's a book we often recommend, we really wanted Ursula to come in and talk to us about her fantastic book and adventure. Ursula is also originally from Ashbourne so it seemed like a perfect match.
Come along to this special event with author Ursula Martin at Yew Tree Records on Thursday 17th September. Get there early to buy refreshments of teas and coffees before the event.
All tickets include an author talk, Q&A and Ursula will be signing books afterwards.
